Application & Selection
Student applies and is selected to receive the Golden LEAF Scholarship.
Welcome from the Golden LEAF Foundation
Golden LEAF has a long-standing tradition of meeting our scholars after they learn they have received the Golden LEAF Scholarship. Pre-COVID, this looked like us visiting schools during their high school award nights and presenting scholars with a certificate. In the midst of the pandemic, we have shifted to hosting Zoom calls to meet and learn more about our scholars. As we move forward with this tradition, we will continue to keep scholars and their stories at the center of our introduction. Whether face-to-face or through the screen, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Golden LEAF Family!
As a network of Golden LEAF scholars has emerged, several colleges and universities have collaborated with Golden LEAF to host scholar events. These engagements are an effort to bring together scholarship recipients, both current and past, to galvanize our efforts to increase economic opportunities in North Carolina’s rural and economically distressed communities.
Leadership and Internship Opportunities Woven Throughout
